At present, we have it only for windows discovery. You can configure synchronization interval for Active Directory OUs or Groups. It will pull the newly created member servers from the Active Directory and add it in PMP as a windows resource.

For other resource discovery such as Linux, VMWare etc, we don't have it now.

We do have scheduled account discovery for resources. Please refer the below link for more details.

You have to open the IP address of the server where Password Manager Pro is running to the outside world, then only Mobile app using 4G will be able to communicate to the PMP Server and fetch the passwords.

Opening PMP Server IP to the outside world is not a recommended practice. Instead, you can ask your users to sync the password for offline access whenever they are inside the network ( Office Network ) and make use of it when they are outside the network.

This error could be due to permission issue. Try running the PMPAgent Service using local admin account.

Cannot connect via RDP

Hi,

I'm having a Problem to connect to Windows Machines via Remote Desktop.
All I can see is a Pop-Up "Please wait while connecting", but it
instantly closes.

The Password Manager logs don't tell much except "serverout0.txt":

PMPAgent on the Target Machine is running. I can connect directly via
RDP from my Computer. Firewalls are stopped. Connections via SSH work fine.

PMP on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Trying to install a HA PMP deployment on Ubuntu 16.04LTS and have the following issues:-

1) After installing I initially am unable to start the PMP service (after following instructions for ubuntu service install).  I have to "systemctl daemon-reload" then I can start the service with "service pmp-service start"; however if I subsequently try to install any software (apt install xyz) I receive errors and the install fails.  I can get round this by removing the pmp service, then installing again afterwards etc, but obviously very clunky.

2) I am unable to bring up my HA server.  I have followed the instructions, however when attempting to start PMP PostgreSQL is failing to start.

Error in Pgsql_err.txt
"bash: /usr/share/PMP/tools/postgres/bin/gettimezone: No such file or directory"

Password Manager Pro Browser Plugin

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying out the Browser Plugin and had some Questions:

- Two Factor Authentication via Mail: I login to the Plugin, receive the Mail-Token but as soon as I want to copy it the Plugin closes and the Token is invalid. Kind of a Dead End here.
- The Autofill Icons only show up on Website Logins as long as I am not logged into the Plugin? oO
- We now tested the Standard Password Manager and the MSP Edition. I configured both exactly the same but somehow in the Browser Plugin only the MSP Server accepts Autologin. Is this a configuration thing or does the Standard Edition not support Autologins?

I was able to get the old DB from the old rep server to load.

But the update to the latest fails on

[com.adventnet.persistence.PostgresPreProcessor]  [SEVERE] : {0}java.lang.Exception: Postgres Migration failed while upgrading data from postgres (PostgreSQL) 9.2.4..refer pgupgrade logs for more information

sub-group permissions inheritance

Hello,

Since we are used the way to manage passwords in folder, we are trying to use sub-groups to do the same way. However, the permission is not inherited from the root resource group and we have to set all groups individually which is not good.

It is noticed that other user was already asked the same question in 2013 and one of your engineer mentioned that the feature was in the road-map. Here is the link:

Just wondering if it has been implemented. If so, why we seems still not getting the feature in our install.

How to add resource types and specify what kind of login it will use.

As title says. 

I want to add some StoreOnce appliances to my PMP they use SSH to be controlled. But I cannot find an option to create the resource type with the desired login/manage method.
