Hi I am looking for an enterprise solution that must be fit for purpose to manage 5000-10000 endpoints. For instance we would like to manage all local admin passwords for all our Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 machines within our global organisation.
Is this tool the right tool and how does it compare to the SANS based powershell scripting method to do same.
we would then look to expand to other resources i.e. SQL db, network devices etc
thanks in advance
Hello
We are evaluating PMP as a possible replacement for our current PIM solution and in general it is an interesting product. A couple of questions:
1. Do you have any solution for the limited screen size of browser RDP sessions? It is probably properJavaRDP in the back, so in that case it should be possible. Or do you have a conf-file somewhere where we could set it manually? IMO it is a fairly small development task, but it has a huge impact on usability.
2. Could we get a separate email field for 2-factor auth? Or would it be possible to not sync email information when AD syncing? The reason is that we send OTP via email to a SMS gateway, so it is a special sender email address containing the phone number.
I should also point out that PMP was quite painful to install because
of all the troubleshooting needed to implement our CA signed wild card
cert for both server and PostgreSQL - and the "guide" is not correct. However we got it working.
Hello ManageEngine,
I would like to know, especifically for the newer builds of PMP, for which version of the PCI-DSS are the reports on compliance based?
Thanks & Regards
