Hi,
Thanks for the post.
It
seems the issue is due to the certificate associated with the PMP
agent. Our development team has already identified this issue and
has an updated agent file to fix this. Please follow the below
mentioned steps to apply the new updated agent:
Windows:
-
Download the zip file from the below link :
-
https://uploads.zohocorp.com/Internal_Useruploads/dnd/PasswordManagerPro/o_19urupgod1ngg819h5mkodk3t1/WindowsAgent-Fix.zip
-
Copy this file to the server in which Password
Manager Pro and place it in your desired location.
-
Now extract this zip file. This will have two
folders, 32 bit and 64 bit
-
Navigate to
<PMP-Installation-Directory>\agent and move the files
"PMPAgent.exe" to the correct 32 or 64 bit directory,
-
Restart PMP Service.
-
Now, if you download the agents from PMP web
console it will download the updated agent.
In the end machine,
-
Execute the command AgentInstaller.exe stop,
this will uninstall the existing agent service
-
Remove the existing folder
-
Download the new Agent from Web console
-
Execute the command AgentInstaller.exe start
, this will install agent service and start the agent.
-
Replace the server name with the ip address of the
PMP server in the Agent.conf file
-
Login to PMP web console and check whether the
Windows server is added.
-
Try to verify and reset the passwords on the server
and let us know how it goes.
Linux Fix:
-
Download the zip file from the below link :
-
https://uploads.zohocorp.com/Internal_Useruploads/PasswordManagerPro/o_19s1f84qt15mh9as19bj1mguo6m1/Linux-Agent-Fix.zip
-
Copy this file to the server in which
Password Manager Pro is installed and place it in your
desired location.
-
Now extract this zip file. This will have
two folders, 32 bit and 64 bit
-
Navigate to
<PMP-Installation-Directory>\agent and move the
files "PMPAgent" to the correct 32 or 64 bit directory,
-
Restart PMP Service.
-
Now, if you download the Linux agents from
PMP web console it will download the updated Linux agent.
In the end machine (Linux)
-
Uninstall the existing agent service and remove
the existing folder
-
Download the Linux Agent from Web console, Admin Tab
-
Execute the command sh installAgent-service.sh
install to install the agent as service
- Execute the command sh installAgent-service.sh start
Please try the same and let us know, how it goes.
