Hi,
Thanks for your mail.
Did
you take a back-up of PMP folder before the upgrade? If you have
taken a back-up of PMP folder, stop the PMP service from services
console (Services.msc) and rename the existing PMP folder,
then copy the backed-up PMP folder to the same location and
continue upgrading as mentioned in the upgrade steps below.
You
can download the upgrade packs from here and use
the instructions mentioned here to
apply the upgrade packs one by one. If MS SQL is configured as
back end, do take a backup of PassTrix database present in MS
SQL Server.
Upgrade steps:
- Take a backup of the entire PMP installation directory.
- Stop the PMP service and exit the tray icon.
- Make sure mysqld/postgres process in not running in task manager.
- Right click on command prompt and run as administrator.
- Navigate to <PMP-Home>/bin folder from CMD.
- Execute the command UpdateManager.bat
- Make sure you have downloaded the correct ppm file.
- Select and apply the .ppm file(upgrade pack)
- Once it is applied successfully.
- Start the PMP service to ensure everything is working fine.
- You can follow the same steps to reach to the latest version.
