Creating a test machine

Hi guys,

This may have been covered elsewhere but I cant see it anywhere obvious.  We run version 7.6 with MySQL backend. 

We are planning to test some new functionality and therefore attempting to create a new installation to test this on before putting on live.

When I install the application from the site it appears to install as PostGres, how can I import our current MySQL database
