I have recently migrated PMP from a Windows Server 2003 server to a
Windows 2012 R2 Server.
I am getting countless DCOM errors every night. The errors are:
<System>
<Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM" Guid="{1B562E86-B7AA-4131-BADC-B6F3A001407E}" EventSourceName="DCOM" />

<Channel>System</Channel>
<Computer>pmpserver.domain.com</Computer>
<Security UserID="S-1-5-18" />
</System>
<EventData>
<Data Name="param1">N</Data>
<Data Name="param2"> e90</Data>
<Data Name="param3">C:\windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe</Data>
The message in the error is:
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer N using any of the configured protocols; requested by PID e90 (C:\windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe).
The letter N is variable. It can be a IP Address or a host-name. It looks like it's trying to communicate with every host that is in PMP.
This error happens on both my PMP servers.
I have been looking in the General Settings but I can't seem to find a setting that could be the cause of these errors.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Martijn Monshouwer
