Re : Personal Passwords missing after upgrade

Hi Neil,

Our apologies for the delay in the response.
While migrating PMP from MySQL to PostgreSQL database we will decrypt all the information stored in MySQL and re-encypt them in PostgreSQL database during the migration. For those users, who choose to the option "Use my encryption key and do not store it". PMP will not be able to decrypt the personal passwords since the encryption key is managed by them. Hence, the personal tab will be blank after migration.

This is only for the users who choose the option 1. For other users who choose Option 2 and 3, since the encryption key is stored inside PMP. Personal password will remain intact even after migration.

We suggest you to roll-back to MySQL database and ask the users who are managing the personal tab encryption key themselves, to export the personal passwords in XLS format and re-add them manually after the migration.

Feel free to write us if you have any other questions.

Thanks & Regards,
Chris
