To enable AutoLogon helper scripts, please Navigate to Admin -> General settings and Check the box "Activate Auto Logon" under security settings. Now, you will be able to see the putty in the open connection.
Auto logon helper scripts will work with all the versions of IE and firefox 3 and below version. It will not work with Firefox 4 or above version and chrome/safari/opera. Unfortunately, we had few limitations in implementing the Firefox plugin for Firefox 4 and above version and other browsers that is the reason we have implemented the HTML 5 based auto logon helper gateway in 6500 version which will work fine with all the browser without any plugin installed.
So, if you want to use the auto logon helper by helper scripts then it should be only through IE.
