Hi Team,
Below are my queries for High Availability in PMP.
1. When primary server goes down which operations are not allowed on secondary server. If there is documentation link for this please do share with me.
2. As of now for HA we are getting below alert,
When primary goes down, [pmpbackup is secondary server name]
Resource Name | Account Name | Operated By | IP Address | Time Stamp | Operation Type | Reason |
Not Applicable | Not Applicable | System | pmpbackup | 2016-09-19 14:52:58.743 | High Availability Failed | The connection between the primary and secondary is alive. |
When secondary goes down,[pmp is primary server name]
Resource Name | Account Name | Operated By | IP Address | Time Stamp | Operation Type | Reason |
Not Applicable | Not Applicable | System | PMP | 2016-09-19 14:54:53.525 | High Availability Failed | The connection between the primary and secondary is lost. |
Instead of this is it possible that we can add below message in REASON,
Primary server is not responding or not available, Secondary server is not responding or not available
3.As per this "https://www.manageengine.com/products/passwordmanagerpro/upgradepack.html#instructions" when you upgrade pack on primary we need to uninstall PMP from secondary and need to install it again with version same as primary one. So is there any feature in road map so when you upgrade primary it will auto upgrade to secondary in backend?
Thanks
Arjun
