Hi everyone,
in our Company we would like to try out Password Manager Pro, so we installed a virtual Machine with CentOS 6.7 (64bit).
We tried to follow the Setup Instruction but already ran into a Problem executing the .bin
With or without the "-console" Option it wouldn't install anything. Trying it on my local Ubuntu 16.04 worked okay so far. Our guess was that the .bin is missing a XServer on our CentOS? But if so why wouldn't it even work with the "-console"?
Our Workaround:
Executing the Setup on the Ubuntu and moving the installed "PMP-Homedirectory" via SCP to the CentOS.

Now we are trying to start the service via "/etc/init.d/pmp-service start"
Checking the status tells us that it's running, but terminates after some time. Analyzing the logfiles showed us this line:

localhost:2345 - no response
So it tries to connect to it's postgres Database but fails to do so. In result the entire pmp-service terminates?
The "Get Started" Documentation describes Postgres and part of the PMP-Bundle. So shouldn't it work on Default Configuration? We stopped Iptables and checked the /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny for possible problems.
We would really like to try Password Manager in our Environment but as it is right now, the Setup ain't as pretty as described.
I already wrote a mail to the support, but got no answer.
Any Idea? Or did anyone else run into the same problems on CentOs?
Thanks in Advance,
Mirko
