Thanks for the post and our sincere apologies for the delay in response.
Both these operations are to check the status of PMP instances for the High Availability feature. Since you have not configured the HA feature, the file is not present and this line gets printed in the log. We will make necessary changes to handle this in our upcoming releases. But we suggest you to configure HA using the steps here as it would be useful to have a DR instance of PMP running.
